Credit cards sales surge with VoucherSent’s streamlined, scalable incentive campaign - Case study

A large international banking brand needed an innovative campaign to enable them to close the gap on their annual targets.

They’d previously had success with incentivised offers but had also experienced a number of problems that needed solving; they were not in a position to offer and manage the incentive directly with their customers, and contracts and data processing agreements made it hard to scale campaigns with multiple partners.

VoucherSent provided the solutions the bank needed.

As part of the service, VoucherSent were not only fulfilling the incentive but also took on the role of Data Controller, to enable a streamlined approach to DPAs across many Partners. Using their proprietary platform, VoucherSent implemented end to end tracking and created custom-built user journeys to optimise UX, enabling the campaigns to easily run with multiple Partners.

This innovative approach enabled a scalable promotion applicable to any chosen Partner at any chosen time.

The smart tracking ensured eligible sales were accurately tracked, and performance by Partner was measured, so that budgets could be effectively managed, ensuring no overspend.

The combination of exceptional operational, technical, commercial and strategic elements resulted in outstanding results, delivering almost 1/3 of the year’s credit card acquisitions for the Partner channel, in just 7 weeks. The incentive campaign smashed monthly average applications by 132%, and over £1.2 Million worth of vouchers were fulfilled to eligible customers as a reward.

Innovative incentives drive 13x more sales per month for digital first bank - Case study

A well known digital bank wanted to increase the number of customers opening a current account using an exclusive incentive.

VoucherSent were challenged to deliver growth through an exclusive partnership, provide a bespoke voucher fulfilment customer journey which removed the need to pass customer details between partners. The Bank’s user journey did not capture customer details, and they weren’t able to track the online journey end to end.

VoucherSent focused on developing a bespoke data capture solution, to capture customer emails within the journey to ensure vouchers could be delivered. To solve the problem of tracking, unique references were generated upon a click out, and these were captured by the Bank and reported back against sales data. This allowed VoucherSent to match a click to a customer without any personal data passing between parties.

The offer was promoted exclusively through oneselect partner, who supported the promotion with solus and newsletter email campaigns. As the offer was market leading, the Partner’s PR team were also able to generate further reach through additional content and community sites whose editorial teams championed the best in market deal.

The results were incredible, driving 171% uplift in clicks, 13x the usual monthly sales volumes andmore than quadrupled the click to sale conversion rate, proving the incentive campaign to be a resounding success.
